1968 Jim Beam Donkey Container/Decanter. Creation of James B. Beam. C. Miller. Measures about 12" in height. I did not wash it. I don't know why there is a hole in the ear. Very good condition. I have 2 of these.
Add a touch of mid-century political history to your bar or shelf with this 1968 Jim Beam whiskey decanter. Designed by the artist C. Miller and manufactured by the Regal China Corporation, this piece features the iconic Democratic Donkey character dressed in formal evening wear, complete with a top hat and cane.
This decanter was originally released during the 1968 election cycle, making it a fantastic piece of Americana. It is a substantial ceramic piece that displays beautifully as a standalone statue or as part of a larger barware collection.
This would be an excellent gift for a political history buff, a collector of vintage advertising, or a Democrat supporter. It fits perfectly in a man cave, home bar, or library as a conversation starter. It can be used as intended to hold spirits or simply displayed as a decorative figurine.
This item is vintage, over 55 years old. While it appears to be in very good condition there may be minor imperfections that I missed.
